The history of the Joplin family in America begins with the Ralph Jopling of Durham, England. Ralph Jopling traveled from England to Virginia in the early 18th century.

Since that journey Joplins have traveled back and forth across the Atlantic and beyond. This site is dedicated to the many Joplin journeys.
